Sophomore first singles player Henry Steer '11 was recently named Star Ledger Player of the Year, and the 2009 All Daily Record Player of the Year. Heartsaver Hero Awards

On June 1, 2009 Matthew Bergh, Dan Szelingowski and Athletic Director Dan Whalen received Heartsaver Hero Awards from the American Heart Association for being part of a strong Chain of Survival which saved the life of a young basketball player during the January 24th game against Brooklyn's Poly Prep.

Green Wave lacrosse parents have a few more grey hairs after last night's squeaker against arch rival Mountain Lakes at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park. Senior Nick Doherty put them out of their misery when he scored a goal with 21 seconds remaining in regulation to boost Delbarton to a 12-11 victory. And the fans went wild...

Wave Trainer Helps Save a Life

On January 24th tragedy was avoided thanks to the quick actions of a young Green Wave athletic trainer. On February 26th Gene Golda, a reporter from the MSG (Madison Square Garden sports) Channel, arrived on campus to interview members of the athletic department about the incident, the successful resuscitation of a visiting basketball player during the January 24th game against Poly Prep.

Schellberg Wins State Title
