The summer sizzler was a smashing success. It was an amazing night with over 200 alumni in attendance along with spouses and friends. This year the Alumni Association gave out T-shirts to celebrate 20 years of the sizzler. The T-shirts were a big hit and were all gone in a very short time. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it.

  • Delbarton Alumni are Incredible

     - A message from J. Craig Paris '82

“Delbarton alumni are incredible.” That’s what everyone on campus is saying when they learn that we’ve hit yet another impressive Delbarton Fund milestone. As of this morning, with gifts still coming in, we have registered a school-record 1,891 alumni donors which equates to 47% participation. Few, if any, independent schools anywhere can boast alumni who give back in the numbers that Delbarton alumni do. Thank you!

Is it a coincidence that Delbarton’s rise to national prominence mirrors the growth in alumni participation in the Delbarton Fund? Certainly not. Delbarton can offer the best education available only because it has the resources it needs to hire the best teachers, build the best facilities, and fund the extras that make a Delbarton education unique.

So, to our 1,891 alumni donors, we say thank you! We are all blessed to be associated with such a wonderful institution that is so valued by so many. Your gifts, year after year, make Delbarton a school unrivaled anywhere.

On behalf of the monks, students, and all of us at Delbarton, I say thank you.

    GO GREEN WAVE!!!

    Craig

P.S. I look forward to thanking you in person at the 20th Summer Sizzler on August 2 at the Belmar Fishing Club. Stay tuned for more information.

  • Why I Give...Dan Scott '62

    Dan Scott Class of '62

Why do I donate to Delbarton? To reciprocate for the positive influence the faculty, coaches, and monks had on my life during the formative teenage years. Delbarton provided me an education that prepared me not only for college, but also for life. Second, the continuing friendships with so many monks who have helped me in both time of trial and joy. Finally, is my desire to ensure that my opportunity to live in a community of principled, spiritual men, who teach by example will continue for many generations.
